Stratovarius always give me creative freedom to suggest stories and concepts for the music videos.
This time they had this triumphant Power Metal anthem “My Eternal Dream”.

I felt the video had to be at the height of the epicness of the song. The lyrics speak about strong dreams pushing us to go against adversity.

It was a nice challenge to develop a story around these characters trying to stay alive, together, taking shelter, and wishing for a better world in times of war. I decided to go in black and white to get this timeless feeling. The footage of the band was done on an island near Helsinki.
