A mixture of folk, acoustic rock, melodic songs with vocal harmonies. A guitar arpeggio, in my bedroom, with a small notepad with bunch of words.

All that gave birth to my album “Aura” (2011). Songs I used to play alone. With a little help from my friends we gave them spirit and transformed them into a full album.

Later, we created the band La suma de las partes to record a new collection of songs, “Vergel” (2020). This new project came with bigger ambitions, more production, and a much longer creative process. Multiple styles and textures can be heard in this multifaceted work. Folkloric sound, distorted guitars, piano, string quartet, saxophones to complete a menu of very diverse songs.

Several guests have been part of both albums, including some of my all-time musical heroes such as Jens Johansson, Timo Kotipelto and Eduardo Billy Biasin.

In the middle of the process of making “Vergel”, Emilio Cervini and I composed the music for the Short Film “Fabrizio’s Initiation” and we recorded it with La suma de las partes.
